In our fast-paced world, we are increasingly looking for tranquility, authenticity and unforgettable experiences. Culinary adventures that not only delight the palate but also touch the soul are more popular than ever. I am always on the lookout for new places that offer this magic – places that tell stories and create connections between people, nature and, of course, gastronomy.

A region that fascinates with its rustic country houses and natural beauty is Teruel. Here I collaborate with a variety of charming rustic houses, each with its own character, history and special charm. One of these treasures is Casa Lagar del Palomar , a perfect setting for culinary experiences. But Teruel has much more to discover. Join me on this journey to explore these exceptional places!

Rustic: Culinary Adventures in Unique Locations

Casa Lagar del Palomar: Charm and Tradition

Casa Lagar del Palomar is a rural retreat that combines history, character and carefully thought-out design. Situated just outside the charming old town of Teruel, it offers the tranquillity of a country setting, but with easy access to local attractions.

Casa Lagar Del Palomar: A story of charm and tradition.

Casa Lagar Del Palomar is not just a rustic country house, it is a place full of history, effort, soul and attention to detail. Located twenty minutes from the center of Teruel. In 1902 Lagar Del Palomar was built, a place where red and white wine were fermented and, according to legend, some brandy was also distilled. It was surrounded by vineyards and unspoiled nature. Over time it stopped being a wine press and became a family home dedicated to the countryside and was passed down from generation to generation and today it has become a Rural House, called Lagar Del Palomar as it was in the beginning, maintaining its charm from the beginning and inviting you to stay when you enter.

With capacity for up to ten guests, this house is ideal for small groups or families looking to disconnect from the daily routine. Here, you can enjoy the comfort of a lovingly and painstakingly restored house without losing the warmth of a traditional rustic house. The walls of the house are set into the hillside and whisper stories of times gone by. In the red wine barrel, which still has its original walls, you can still see the marks left by the wine when the grapes were crushed upstairs and the liquid fell through the grate located in the ceiling of this room to ferment. This is the place they now call Lagar and it is the most charming room in the house, where we have already organized numerous unforgettable culinary adventures, just as on the terrace on sunny days we have enjoyed an extraordinary barbecue or on a summer night by candlelight. Experiences that have to be lived and told.

Culinary Adventures in Rusticos: Variety and Flavor

The charm of this region lies in the diversity of its rural houses. Each Rustico I collaborate with offers a unique atmosphere and exceptional possibilities for unforgettable gastronomic experiences. Here is a glimpse of what you can experience:
